Our
Story
Suncoast Gymnastics Academy is located in Odessa, FL, and has enjoyed working with children for over 30 years. Our goal is to provide educational programs through physical activity that hold high standards for learning. What is most important is what your children learn here at Suncoast. Our programs aim to develop our children from the inside out, using athletic activity and the lessons learned to produce happy and healthy children.

Our success is not defined by the number of trophies on our shelves but by the smiling faces that walk through our doors daily. Our mission has always been to build children emotionally, mentally, and physically to their highest potential. Suncoast Gymnastics strives to provide quality staff who can follow our vision. We, as leaders, believe that continued education and providing a safe, fun, and productive atmosphere are of utmost importance when setting our children up for success.
Arnold Gwinn

Hello, my name is Arnold Gwinn. I am the owner/director of Suncoast Gymnastics Academy. I want to take this opportunity to introduce myself and tell you how this all began. Suncoast Gymnastics Academy has been in existence for over 35 years. I have been the current owner for the past 30 years. Our first facility was a 6500 sq. ft. warehouse; since then, I have been on a mission to create the ultimate training facility for youth in the surrounding counties. After receiving a gymnastics scholarship and graduating from Western Michigan University, Suncoast Gymnastics Academy was my first and only job.
From the beginning, my goal was to build a state-of-the-art training facility for gymnastics and to reach children in as many sports as possible. We are currently in a 30,000 sq. ft. facility that houses more than 10 active sports or activities for children.
Brent Gwinn
Director of Operations
Hi there, I'm Brent Gwinn, the Director of Operations at Suncoast Gymnastics. I've been a part of this fantastic gym since I was a kid, and it has always been my home. I started coaching at a young age, helping with birthday parties when I was only 13. By the time I was 16, I led the charge as the Director of Trampoline and Tumbling, summer camps, boys' gymnastics, and more!

As the Director of Operations, I aim to ensure that Suncoast remains a home to all our athletes, just like it is to me. I believe in consistency, excellence, and creating opportunities for our athletes to grow and succeed. Seeing our athletes develop their skills, build their confidence, and achieve their goals is incredibly rewarding.
At Suncoast, we are a family and I am proud to be a part of that. As the Director of Operations, I work tirelessly to create a positive and welcoming environment for our athletes, coaches, and staff. I truly believe that athletics is more than just a sport - it's a way of life. And at Suncoast, we strive to instill that love and passion for gymnastics in our athletes.
